Hospitalized and doing time
At least I thought I was doing better.
Until last Thursday.
On the vening of the tenth I got very sick. The next few days I was vomiting and wasn't digesting anything (not since the 9th). On Thursday the 14th I checked myself into a hospital here and they ran numerous tests. CT scans, ultrasounds, rays, etc. At first they thought it was my gall bladder and they were going to do surgery. But the initial tests came back normal, so they decided against it. Saturday morning I was moved out of ER into a room and by the afternoon of Sunday I was allowed to eat for the first time. They gave me intravenous antibiotics because I had abnormal liver tests and a bacterial hepititas. At the end they told me I was basically a mystery. I do have slightly high cholesterol and low good cholesterol which means my liver is not able to function up to par. Also Gall bladder "sludge" not big enough to be considered stones, but enough to be uncomfortable. I have been able to keep food down for a 24 hour period and they released me with some prescriptions for acid reducers and nausea.
So there is my adventure. Thank you so much for your prayers, calls, and encouragement.
I have to go stand in the rain now. It is actually raining in this 100 degree desert!!
